JAHC hosts “Paint Big REALLY BIG!” Workshop with Visiting Artist Cynthia Schildhauer

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council will sponsor a painting workshop with visiting artist Cynthia Schildhauer Friday June 16 – Sunday, June 18.

Join artist Cynthia Schildhauer for a weekend of large-scale, intuitive painting. With exercises to stimulate creativity, participants are gently led to experience the freedom of using fresh, intuitive insight and personal imagery to conquer the daunting mystery of painting big! Demonstrations, technical instruction, and individual assistance are all provided. The course is open to experience and novice artists. All materials are included – even the 6’x5’ canvas!

Registration is available at the JACC, Hearthside Books, and www.jahc.org/box-office. Course cost is $250 for the weekend. Participants meet at the JACC from 5:30-8:30 PM Friday June 16, and 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM Saturday and Sunday June 17 and 18.
