CBJ Arts Funding panelists sought

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is looking for three people to serve on the City and Borough of Juneau Arts Grant review panel: One person to serve for one year, one person to serve for two years, and one person to serve a full three-year term.

The City invests $167,500 annually in the arts organizations, which use it to leverage over $12,000,000 in operating budgets collectively, supporting 63 fulltime employees and 233 part time employees. Panelists meet annually in May to review the applications for the funding and submit their recommendations to the Council Board of Trustees, which manages the disbursement of the funds on behalf of the City.

Panelists should have some connection to the arts and culture in Juneau, not be directly involved in any of the applicant organizations, and conversant with non-profit financial statements and programs.

Anyone interested in serving on the panel should complete this Grantpanel application.
