Virtual Artist Gathering and Intro to Arts Award
When: Jan. 17, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Description: A virtual introduction to the Individual Artist Awards program and other arts opportunities. This is the time for artists, makers and culture bearers who are not familiar with the program to learn about it. It is intended for those who have not previously applied. All are welcome! Guests will hear from past IAA recipients Kawahine Danner and Da-ka-xeen Mehner, and representatives from Rasmuson Foundation, Kawerak Inc., and Museums Alaska.
Virtual Statewide Individual Artist Awards Overview

- Description: This informational meeting is intended to provide an overview of the Individual Artist Awards and a walk-through of Rasmuson Foundation’s Individual Artist Awards application process. It should help all Alaska artists learn about and prepare for the Individual Artist Awards. This meeting is for those unfamiliar with the process. For a more in-depth workshop, please register for the January 26 or February 2 event.
Virtual Workshop for First-Time IAA Applicants

- Description: This interactive workshop will walk applicants through the Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist Awards application portal step-by-step and is recommended for those who have not applied before. The focus will be on how to best utilize the components of the application to present your work to the panel in the best possible way.It should help all Alaska artists learn about, and prepare for, the Individual Artist Awards.
Virtual Workshop for Seasoned IAA Applicants (Artists Who Have Applied Before)
- When: Feb 2, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

- Description: This interactive workshop will give applicants an overview of the Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist Awards application portal and will discuss the individual components that make a compelling application. It will include hands on workshopping of the different parts of the application, such as the project description or project impact statements.Come prepared to workshop parts of the application with your peers and Rasmuson staff! It is recommended for artists who have applied before and who are experienced with the IAA application process.
