How To Be an Arts Council Gallery Artist

Arts Council Gallery Artists are booked in a 12 month block from October – September. Applications and a call for art for Season 44 artists (October 2017 – September 2018) will be posted and advertised on our website and through social media beginning in March, 2017. Applications are typically due April 15, 2017, although this date is not yet confirmed. The selection committee usually announces their decision in June.

The annual call for art is open to all Alaskan residents. Individuals, duos and/or groups, and organizations are welcome to apply. Preference is given to Southeast Alaskan residents, particularly JAHC members in good standing – note that you may become an Arts Council member at any time.
