After Class Enrichment, or ACE for short, is an afterschool arts and academic enrichment program that takes place from 2:45 to 4:45 in Geneva Woods in the Community Center and from 3:15 to 5:15 in Cedar Park in D7 on Mondays through Thursdays.

Each location has an on-site certified teacher and a trained teaching artist. Programming focuses on engaging students in their schoolwork while offering opportunities for exploring, creating, and enjoying the process of learning.

Staff members for ACE include Sheila Dyer and Sarah Conarro at Geneva Woods, and Eleanor and Jacob Stoltz at Cedar Park. Ms Conarro has worked in the ArtShops program previously offered by the Council: People who attend the Sundays at Savikko concerts enjoy the banners created by her students for the Pavilion. Ms Dyer bring a wide range of talents and skills to the program ranging from photography to productions. Ms Stoltz is a special education teacher at Harborview, and her husband, Jacob Stoltz is a graphic artist, recently offering a special artist in the schools program in cartooning. The staff will be meeting with the Harborview teachers so that the ACE program is tied to the programs happening at the school as well.
